Since 2010 she eats it at least once when visiting Niamoye and Ibrahim in Djenné. Not only Monique loves the dish, it is also the preferred meal for many a Djenné citizen.
In this video tour Niamoye and Monique go grocery shopping on the market in Djenné, Niamoye prepares a traditional Tion Tion with fish and Monique creates a vegetarian version.
